What we believe . . .

We believe that all people are born in sin, and that we all sin against God.

Romans 3:10 "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one."

Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."

We believe that the penalty for sin is death.

Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord"

Ez. 18:20 "The soul that sinneth, it shall die . . ."

We believe that no one can be good enough to get to heaven.

Is. 64:6 "But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away."

Is. 53:6 "All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all."

We believe that God loves us, even as sinners. He sent Jesus, the Perfect Lamb of God, to take our punishment and give us eternal life.

Rom. 5:8 "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

John 3:16-18 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."

Is. 53:5-6 "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD [God] hath laid on him [Jesus] the iniquity of us all."

Titus 3:5-6 "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior;"

Eph. 2:8-9 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast."

We believe that the death of Jesus is God's plan to reconcile mankind. He offers us salvation through Jesus alone.

Acts 4:12 "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."

Hebrews 9:22b ". . . and without shedding of blood is no remission."

John 14:6 "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

We believe we have but to ask for God's gift of salvation.

Acts 16:30-31 "And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house."

Rom. 10:9-13 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

If you were to die today, do you know that you would go to heaven? You can! Don't wait, because you are not guaranteed tomorrow!
